Signing ceremony for Haywood Park Community Hospital
Haywood, TN., – On October 27, 2020, Haywood County Mayor David Livingston, with Braden Health, a company dedicated to mitigating the rural hospital crisis in the United States, will hold a signing ceremony for the Haywood Park Community Hospital facilities 2545 N. Washington Ave, Brownsville, TN 38012 for members of the media, and elected officials. It will begin at 3:00 pm CST for members of the media, 4:00pm CST for elected officials with speeches starting
at 5:00 pm CST. Social distancing will be enforced, and masks are recommended in accordance with the guidance of the Office of the Mayor of Haywood County, Governor of Tennessee, and CDC guidelines. The event will include elected officials at all levels, healthcare executives, and industry leaders dedicated to rebuilding America’s rural healthcare system and restoring the relationships between specialty and rural hospitals. It will feature a discussion on the plans for reopening Haywood County Community Hospital, including a pledge to invest $5,000,000.00 in the facilities and create 134 jobs, the regulatory process, infrastructure/technology process, and job creation timeline. Community initiatives that will provide mental health, substance abuse,
education to our employees, partnerships with local schools, and chaplain services.
Hillrom and Philips will hold an American Technology Healthcare Showcase demonstrating the most advanced, cutting-edge equipment to the media and elected officials. These medical technologies will service the Haywood County Community Hospital upon its reopening.
The American Healthcare Technology Showcase will introduce the people served by the hospital to brand-new services and devices. Hillrom will be demonstrating the most advanced hospital bed technology in the world, featuring beds which can automatically turn patients, adjust to a patient’s weight, prevent a patient from falling out of bed, lift a patient to a standing position, help prevent bed sores, and communicate with the patient’s care team. Philips will display the latest inpatient monitors, and the full complement of their precision diagnosis solutions, including; Philips Ultrasound System (known as EPIQ), Philips MR (known as Ingenia Ambition) and Philips Spectral CT (known as IQon). The Philips team will also demonstrate healthcare technologies such as the Ambient Experience through an interactive virtual reality exhibit.
