The Budget Committee will meet April 26, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. Allen King Justice Complex.

Election Commission – $263,000.00 Voting machines
Development – $8,469.00 Renee’s salary up to industry standards
Veteran Services – $15,965.00 raise
Rescue Squad
Civil Defense
General Sessions Judge – $12,219.00 raise for secretary – up to industry standards
Juvenile Court – $21,397.00 juvenile officers up – to industry standards
Sheriff’s Office – $80,002.00 2 additional deputies
Jail – $13,883.00 raises for deputies – up to industry standards
Ambulance/EMS $70,002.00 raises for paraprofessionals – up to industry standards

Contributions to Other Agencies
• IT/ Data Processing Services – Mayor Rawls takes the position that Darren and Kristy are technically City employees because they are on the City’s benefits plan. They are proposing that Darren receive a 4% raise and Kristy be brought up to industry standards. Here is the proposed amount:
o Darren – $54,631
o Kristy – $38,640 -$4,602.00 4 % raise up to industry standards for Kristy
The County is responsible for 2/3 of the salaries, which comes out to $62,180.
• Central Dispatch – Our part of the budget (we receive rent of $1500 per quarter from City, and then we pay ½ expenses each quarter to City (less 911 contribution). The total of expenses paid for the first two quarters of the FY were $111,408.27.

Fire Prevention & Control $6,353.00 4% raise for 4 & 1/2 employees- Fire Truck
$100,000.00 down payment.
