Carolyn Flagg to serve on BEA Board
Alderman Carolyn Flagg has been appointed to the Brownsville Energy Authority’s Board of Directors. In a letter to the city’s leadership, the utility asked that Flagg be placed on the board. At Tuesday’s Brownsville City Board meeting aldermen and the mayor confirmed the appointment..
The city board also approved an application for a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The money will be used to improve the city’s aging sewer infrastructure.
