Start your holiday shopping at 8th Annual Holiday in Haywood

BROWNSVILLE, TN (November 2, 2015): Those looking for unique holiday gift items will have the perfect opportunity during the 8th Annual Holiday in Haywood two-day shopping mart planned for November 13-14, in Brownsville, Tenn. “Holiday in Haywood” will feature retail and specialty merchants all under one roof and offering a variety of items perfect for your holiday gift giving. There is no admission fee.

“This is a great opportunity for people to get a head start on their holiday shopping,” says Vickie Cooper, Holiday in Haywood coordinator.

This year’s event will be held at the Wyatt Duke National Guard Armory, 221 Morgan Street, and will open Friday from noon until 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., giving shoppers plenty of time to make their choices.

Among the many items for sale will be handcrafted jewelry, all natural soaps and lotions, candles, homemade pies, cakes and other culinary goodies, ladies and children’s clothing, toys, wood-crafted items and much more.

Santa will be on hand Saturday morning for breakfast and to greet kids and take pictures. Breakfast with Santa will begin at 9 a.m., and cost is $5 per child. You may take your own pictures with Santa or purchase a picture for an additional $5. Proceeds from the breakfast will go to the Boys and Girls Club, Brownsville Unit.
